However, in a major steal against their European competitors, Chery’s Tiggo is set to hit the road for thousands of pounds cheaper. Even second-hand Evoque’s are still hefty investments with many used examples selling for around the £20,000 mark.
The new Tiggo is yet to be sold in Europe and prices would likely be higher when the model is made available over here due to costs around importing stock.
However, the lack of tariffs on brand-new Chinese cars means motorists in Britain will likely pay considerably less than those in the United States or the EU.

This would be around £19,000 in the UK, making the Tiggo still a lot cheaper than many Western-built SUVs.
The Tiggo 7 cars are available in a range of fuel types with mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric options.
However, British drivers could be waiting a whole to get their hands on the model with Chery first set to expand to Eastern European markets.
