Geely, the parent company of Volvo, Polestar, and Lotus, would be coming to the UK shores by the end of the year.
The Chinese brand has been striking deals with British dealerships in a bid to establish its name in the UK.
Geely will start out with the EX5, an EV crossover that is comparable to the Skoda Enyaq, Nissan Ariya, and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
The EX5 boasts a 15.4-inch central screen, a 360-degree parking camera, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, LED lighting with High Beam Control, and auto wipers.

It takes the motor an impressive 6.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour.
The base model will have a 267-mile range on a single charge and can be charged from 30% to 80% in around 20 minutes.
The EX5, which is already available in Australia, includes an Andersen A3 home wallbox charger and an extended guarantee that lasts eight years.
The roomy crossover is scheduled to be on sale in the UK in the last quarter of this year and has been priced at a fair £31,990.

The firm will also offer two slightly more sophisticated models – the EX5 Pro, which adds 19-inch alloy wheels and a different interior colour, and the Max.
The Max model, priced at £36,990, has extra perks like panoramic sunroof, auto tailgate, ambient interior lighting, ventilated seats with a massage function, an upgraded stereo and a head-up display.
The firm has collaborated with its subsidiary Lotus to prepare the UK line for the British roads.
Mike Yang, general manager at Geely Auto UK, said: “We know the Geely EX5 is a great product with several core features that will appeal to a British audience.
“That’s why we chose it to be our first passenger car for sale in the UK. However, we’re aware that UK customers have unique demands.
“For that reason, before we release the car for sale, we’re working with the experts at Lotus Engineering to make sure we have a car that’s in line with expectations.
“Lotus Engineering has a formidable track record along with some of the best R&D resources, so we’re delighted to be working closely with them.”
Geely then intends to expand its UK range, with more models expected to be released next year.
The Chinese carmaker is also set to open service facilities and dealership across the country.
The firm already signed a deal with Greenhous Group which will represent the brand in Shrewsbury.
Ashley Passant, managing director of the car & fleet division at Greenhous, told Car Dealer: “‘Welcoming Geely to our brand line-up is an exciting step forward for our company.
“Geely has consistently demonstrated its ability to combine affordability with world-class design and innovation.
