MG Majestor Spotted in India Again – CarWale

MG Motor has been radio silent after the Majestor’s 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo showcase. Given that the Hector SUV is due for a facelift, the Majestor could follow similar footsteps, building on the Gloster, which did not receive a good response in India.
Poised to rival the potent Toyota Fortuner, the MG Majestor may get the same mechanicals as the Gloster, churning out 159bhp/374Nm (2WD) and 213bhp/479Nm (4WD) – all via a 2.0L diesel motor. Given that the carmaker has not gone official, and with volume-specific models like the Comet EV, Hector, Hector Plus, and the Windsor EV, the Gloster is positioned higher in the price range (commands a base Rs. 38 lakh ex-showroom tag).
The MG Majestor, if launched here, will likely command a Rs. 40+ lakh price tag. On the other hand, the carmaker may be deliberating whether or not to introduce the SUV in this market.
