German manufacturers continued to lead the UAE’s luxury used-car segment in 2025
The UAE’s pre-owned car market recorded robust activity in 2025, reflecting a resilient ecosystem that continues to attract both value-conscious buyers and premium customers. Supported by the country’s strict vehicle inspection and maintenance standards, used cars across segments are increasingly viewed as reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective alternatives to new vehicles.
As one of the UAE’s most established automotive marketplaces, dubizzle provides a comprehensive view of buyer and seller behaviour across more than 100 automotive brands. Beyond listings, the platform captures broader market dynamics through services such as vehicle inspections, financing solutions, and structured sales formats including the dubizzle Yard Sale. These insights form the foundation of dubizzle’s annual market analysis, offering data-driven perspectives that enhance transparency and support informed decision-making across the pre-owned car market.
According to the dubizzle 2025 Annual Car Market Report, buyer demand is increasingly diversified, with no single segment dominating the market. Instead, purchasing decisions are shaped by practicality, value retention, technology features, and evolving mobility needs.
Commenting on market trends in 2025, Sherif Magdy, sales director at dubizzle Cars, said: “The UAE car market in 2025 feels more considered than ever before. Buyers are doing their homework and making choices that genuinely suit their needs, whether that’s a dependable everyday car, an SUV with the latest tech, or an electric vehicle. Based on our observations, rather than one trend dominating the market, demand is spread across different segments, reflecting more personal and practical decision-making. Pre-owned cars continue to appeal to a wide audience, particularly as the cost of new vehicles remains high. SUVs are holding their ground, tech features are becoming a stronger deciding factor, and electric vehicles are gaining traction as charging infrastructure improves. From our point of view, at dubizzle the focus is on making the process clearer and easier, so buyers and sellers can move forward with confidence.”
