Nissan to Unveil New MPV on 18 December – CarWale

Nissan India will globally unveil its new MPV on 18 December, marking the brand’s third model in the lineup after the Magnite and the X-Trail. The upcoming MPV will play a key role in Nissan’s renewed product push for the Indian market.
The new model is based on the Renault Triber and will share the same CMF-A architecture along with the familiar 1.0-litre petrol engine option. Recent test mules spotted across the country have confirmed its compact proportions, seven-seat layout, and Nissan-specific styling changes that will distinguish it from its Renault sibling.
Targeted at family buyers looking for an affordable and versatile people-mover, the MPV is likely to offer flexible seating configurations and practical feature additions, while maintaining competitive pricing. With the MPV segment continuing to show strong demand, this launch is expected to significantly expand Nissan’s footprint in India.
