Nissan Gravite Launch – 7-Seater B-MPV Segment – RushLane

For Nissan India, product activity now includes additions to the near-term pipeline. Nissan Gravite Launch is scheduled for January 21, 2026. Vehicle configuration includes a 7-seater B-MPV body type. Positioning targets space-focused passenger requirements.
Manufacturing operations in India follow an export-led growth approach. Production supports select global markets under a unified product specification. This approach is aligned with the One Car, One World philosophy. Vehicles produced locally meet varied regulatory requirements. Scale remains linked to consistent overseas demand.
Nissan India is reporting consolidated sales of 15,372 units for December 2025. Export volume stood at 13,470 units during the month. Domestic wholesale accounted for 1,902 units. December marked the highest monthly export volume in more than ten years. Volumes reflected continued reliance on overseas markets.
Exports form the dominant share of Nissan India sales volumes. Overseas dispatches exceed domestic wholesale by a wide margin. Cumulative vehicle exports from India have reached 1.2 million units. India continues serving as a supply base for multiple regions.
Another incoming nameplate includes Nissan Tekton. Vehicle form factor covers the 5-seater C-SUV segment. Global reveal is scheduled for February 4, 2026. Segment placement aligns with prevailing market volumes. Planning also includes a 7-seater C-SUV slated for 2027.
Dealer network expansion remains a part of distribution planning. Target showroom count stands at 250 outlets nationwide. Timeline extends to the end of FY2027. Network scale supports both domestic sales and ownership continuity.
Recent infrastructure additions includ new 3S facilities. Locations covered Kangra in Himachal Pradesh. Hoshiarpur in Punjab also received a facility. 3S facilities combine sales, service, and spares operations. Geographic placement supports regional access.
Export destinations for India-made vehicles extended across 65-plus international markets. Nissan Magnite contributed significantly to export volumes. Magnite achieved cumulative sales of 200,000 units since launch. Safety credentials include a 5-star GNCAP rating. Standard safety equipment count exceeds 40 features.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said: “CY2025 was a year of consolidation for Nissan Motor India, supported by steady domestic and record export performance in December 2025 led by the New Nissan Magnite. During the year, we also took important steps in shaping our next phase of growth with the Design Deep-dive & Name Reveal for the Nissan Tekton C-SUV in October and the Nissan Gravite in December, clearly signaling our product-led resurgence in India.
With a well-defined product offensive starting in early 2026 and India playing a critical role in Nissan’s global strategy, our teams and dealer partners are fully aligned to deliver world-class, Made-in-India products that resonate strongly with Indian customers.”
