“Nasha Niva” calculated the annual figures based on monthly reports of the Belarusian Automobile Association (BAA). They contain data for the entire year 2025, with the exception of November.
Thus, over 9 months of last year, official dealers sold 37.1 thousand new cars. In October, 5000 cars were sold, and in December — 5700 cars. Based on these data and last year’s figures, it can be assumed that sales in November were also around 5000 new passenger cars per month.
It turns out that for the entire year 2025, official dealers sold about 53,000 new passenger cars.
For comparison: in 2024, official dealers sold 49,636 new passenger cars in Belarus. Thus, the annual growth last year was about 7%.
If we add 6.7% for light commercial vehicles to the 53 thousand new passenger cars (this was the percentage last year), then in total, official dealers last year sold about 56,500 new cars, including light commercial vehicles. In 2024, there were 53,178 units.
From this, it follows that Belarusian official dealers felt better than last year only in the record year 2019, when 64,504 new cars, including light commercial vehicles, were sold in Belarus.
Overall, the top new car sales by official dealers by year looks like this:
1st place — 2019
2nd place — 2025
3rd place — 2024.
The worst year was 2022, when due to sanctions and the withdrawal of global car manufacturers from Russia, sales by official dealers fell from 46,837 in 2021 to 17,234 cars in 2022.

More than half of sales are Chinese-Belarusian Geely/Belgee. The most popular model among Belarusians is the Belgee X50 (formerly Geely Coolray), accounting for about 40% of Geely/Belgee brand car sales. In second place for popularity is the Russian Lada.
