Elevate Hybrid

Honda is preparing to bring its strong hybrid technology to the compact SUV segment by launching the Elevate Hybrid. We expect the car to be launched in the second half of 2026. It is expected to be priced around Rs 17 lakh to 24 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
The Hybrid system will be the one used in City Hybrid with the 1.5-litre NA engine producing 126 bhp and 253 Nm of torque.We expect the Elevate Hybrid to have a similar fuel efficiency of around 27.12 km/l. This car will offer excellent fuel efficiency, low maintenance, and ease of ownership. It will compete against the Toyota Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and will be locally manufactured at Honda’s Tapukara plant.

Honda 0 Series (Alpha)

Honda unveiled the 0 series concept at the Japan Mobility Show and is expected to be launched in India by 2027. The 0 series is expected to be launched in the range of Rs 17 lakh to Rs 22 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) and will go up against other EVs like Creta EV, Sierra EV, Mahindra BE6, etc.
The car will share some components with the Elevate but will be based on a new platform and architecture. Honda is likely to introduce the 0 Alpha in India as a CBU first, before eventually moving to local production. Honda will be manufacturing the 0 series in India and then export it to Japan and various other Asian markets, showcasing Honda’s commitment to long-term growth in India.

Honda ZR-V

Honda will be launching the ZR-V in India, its mid-size crossover SUV by late 2026. The car will be imported to India as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) and is expected to carry a hefty price tag of around Rs 50 lakh to 60 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
ZR-V will get the Honda Sensing ADAS suite and will have a button-operated gearshifter like the CR-V. The India spec ZR-V is expected to be launched with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder hybrid engine producing 180 bhp and 240 Nm of torque mated to an e-CVT gearbox. It will compete against premium SUVs like Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq.

Honda Sub 4m SUV – Nexon Rival

Honda is reportedly working on a new sub 4m SUV for India, aimed directly at the compact SUV market which is expected to be launched later this year. This model will sit below the Elevate and offer a more affordable, city-friendly option for buyers. While official details are under wraps, sources suggest it could feature the mild-hybrid tech.
We expect the car to be launched with 1.2-litre NA engine producing 88 bhp and 110 Nm torque mated to manual as well as CVT transmission. The exact pricing is not clear yet but we expect Honda to undercut the Nexon which is currently priced between Rs 9.21 lakh & Rs 17.06 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
