The launch season for the biggest Formula 1 regulation change in decades is well under way.
But in such a busy launch season – particularly when teams’ plans are spread out before and after the first pre-season test – it can be hard to keep track of who has revealed what.
So we’ve compiled all the cars and liveries unveiled so far, below.
McLaren put out images of its 2026 design just as the first shakedown test began, though it won’t take to the track until Tuesday or Wednesday.
The champion team’s car will start off in this testing livery before its actual 2026 colour scheme is revealed in a full launch event on February 9.
Having used an adapted showcar for its initial 2026 launch event in mid-January, Red Bull offered what it called a ‘first look’ at the real RB22 just before the first pre-season test – albeit in images that could best be described as distant!
Alpine showed off its revised livery for the 2026 F1 season in a launch event on a cruise ship in Barcelona just after Ferrari had hit the track.
It used a showcar for its event, but its actual A526 has already run in private for a shakedown at Silverstone.
A whiter, brighter-red Ferrari colour scheme adorns its new SF-26, first unveiled digitally and then immediately hitting the track in the flesh at Fiorano.
The different look of the livery is accentuated by the pivot from matte to gloss paint.
Mercedes initially gave an advanced hint of its 2026 car’s design and revised livery by releasing a set of renders.
It then later provided imagery of the real W17 on track from what was a very impressive Silverstone shakedown.
After revealing a concept livery last year, Audi unveiled its full official livery for its debut F1 season in a launch event in Berlin on January 20 – though bar the addition of sponsors such as title partner Revolut, the definitive colour scheme wasn’t that different to the concept version.
Audi had actually become the first team to run a 2026 car on track 11 days earlier, but hasn’t shown off that car yet and used the official F1 showcar for its livery event and press shots.
You might need to squint to properly see it, but we saw the first pictures of Audi’s 2026 F1 car following its shakedown on January 9 at Barcelona. But, as above, that car has been kept hidden since and wasn’t used for its January 20 livery launch.
Like Red Bull, Racing Bulls had stuck to a combination of reliveried official F1 showcar and its own slightly modified version for its unveiling event in Detroit.
But half a week later, the real VCARB 03 hit the track for two days of shakedown running at Imola under F1’s ‘demonstration’ and ‘promotional’ allowances. That gave us the clearest look so far at an actual 2026 F1 car and the differences to the launch images – most strikingly in the airbox shape.
The 2026 Racing Bulls livery emerged at the joint Red Bull/Ford event in Detroit.
While not as big a change as the Red Bull 2026 colour scheme, Racing Bulls’ first livery of its Ford era includes significantly more dark blue than before.
Haas released digital renders of its 2026 car and a new livery, featuring prominent TGR branding from its title and technical partner Toyota, on January 19.
And then photos from its shakedown emerged later that week, with what appeared to be a car fairly faithful to the renders.
The first genuine 2026 livery to appear came via Red Bull and Ford, in a season launch event held in Detroit on the night of January 15 using a Red Bull variant of the 2026 show car rather than its actual design.
Red Bull’s new partnership with Ford is reflected in the biggest change to the team’s livery in years.

Cadillac’s first F1 car completed its shakedown on Friday, January 16, at Silverstone.
Cadillac will showcase its proper 2026 livery at the Super Bowl halftime show.
But for the Barcelona test, from January 26-30, Cadillac’s first F1 car will run in a black livery with a large Cadillac logo.
This will help hide the “design secrets” of the car, according to the team, before it moves into its full 2026 colours at the first of two Bahrain tests.
Williams allowed its fans to pick between six different designs for the livery it will use during F1 pre-season testing.
The winning ‘flow state’ livery features Williams’s navy blue lines on a white background.
Williams will showcase its proper 2026 livery during an event on February 3 – but its car won’t have run on track by that point.
It announced three days before the private Barcelona running that it would miss that test altogether due to delays getting its car ready.
