With the ongoing festive season and GST-based price revisions, there is already a positive sentiment for the automobile market in India. That said, there will be no dearth of car launches and unveils this month, all of which we will detail in this write-up.
2025 Mahindra Bolero/Bolero Neo
The Mahindra Bolero siblings will soon get a model year refresh, and spy shots from dealer facilities have confirmed key changes to these SUVs. While an official price reveal has not been charted, it is likely to take place in the coming days.
The new Bolero Neo will get a new grille, air dam, alloy wheels, black and brown interior theme, fabric upholstery, fog lights, 10.25-inch touchscreen unit, and more. A similar update is expected to be rolled out for its sibling, the Bolero.
2025 Mahindra Thar
Following the updated Bolero range, will be the refreshed Thar three-door. While an official launch date has not been announced, we expect the prices to be revealed in the first half of the month. The offroad-focused SUV will get a nip-and-tuck update on the outside, along with key feature updates all around.
The updated Thar arriving at local dealerships in the recent past has already confirmed feature enhancements in the form of a revised grille, dual-tone front and rear bumpers, front armrest, reverse parking camera, cup holders, and more. We expect no mechanical and spec changes.
Nissan C-SUV
Nissan is working on a compact SUV, scheduled to be launched in the country early next year. Already spotted testing on Indian roads, it will be a spiritual successor to the Terrano. Set to be unveiled in India on 7 October, it will share its underpinnings with the new-gen Renault Duster.
While technical specifications of this upcoming model remain unknown at the moment, spy pictures have revealed key details, all of which you can read on our website. The new Nissan C-SUV will rival the Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Maruti Victoris, Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, and the Skoda Kushaq.
Skoda Octavia RS
Skoda will celebrate 25 years in the Indian market by bringing back its iconic performance sedan, the Octavia RS. The price announcement of this upcoming car is scheduled to be announced on 17 October, 2025.
According to the Czech automobile brand, only 100 units of the car will be imported into the country. Showcased at the Auto Expo earlier this year, it will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, generating 261bhp and 370Nm. Paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox, power will be sent to the front wheels.
Citroen Aircross X
After introducing updates for the C3 and the Basalt in the form of ‘X’ derivatives, Citroen will soon bring in a similar update for the Aircross SUV. Recent teasers have confirmed that the model will get an updated feature set, while the specifications will be carried over from the outgoing car.
The new Aircross X is set to come equipped with a new green paint option, all-LED lighting, ventilated front seats, fresh upholstery, Cara AI voice assistant, and a 360-degree camera.
Mini Countryman JCW
Mini India has officially commenced pre-bookings of the Countryman JCW All4 ahead of its price announcement on 14 October. It can be booked via the official website or across the carmaker’s 11 nationwide dealerships.
Under the hood, the new Countryman JCW will be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol engine, sending power to the wheels via a seven-speed DCT unit. Power output stands at 300bhp and 400Nm, with a claimed 0-100kmph time of 5.4 seconds.
