Porsche has introduced the 2025 911 Turbo S (992.2) in India at a starting price of Rs. 3.80 crores (ex-showroom). Unveiled earlier this year at the 2025 Munich Motor Show, the new Turbo S arrives as the most powerful iteration of the iconic 911 yet. Bookings are now open, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026.
The latest 911 Turbo S is powered by a 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six hybrid engine derived from the 911 Carrera 4 GTS but with an additional turbocharger. This setup generates 711 HP and 800 Nm of torque, marking an increase of 61 HP over its predecessor. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, enabling the car to sprint from 0-100 km/hr in just 2.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 322 km/hr. The 911 Turbo S also clocks a 7:03.92-minute Nürburgring lap time, a full 14 seconds quicker than the outgoing model.
Design changes include a wider body, an active rear diffuser, centre-lock alloy wheels and a ducktail-style spoiler, giving the sports car a more aggressive stance. Porsche has also introduced its distinctive Turbonite finish across exterior and interior elements, adding a unique visual identity.
Braking performance is handled by massive carbon-ceramic discs – 420 mm at the front and 410 mm at the rear – the largest ever fitted to a two-door Porsche. Other upgrades include a 6.8 kg lighter titanium sports exhaust system and the latest version of Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) for sharper handling and improved stability at high speeds.
With its combination of electrified performance, aerodynamic refinements, and cutting-edge chassis technology, the 2025 Porsche 911 Turbo S represents a new benchmark for hybrid supercars in its class.
