2022 New Honda CITY eHEV Electric Hybrid Technology
Honda city has been one of the favorite and hottest selling cars for a decade in the Indian market. It is most liked for its driving pleasure and comfort. Cumulatively, Honda City achieved sales of more than 6.8 lakh units in the Indian market today.
Today Honda launched its all-new Honda city eHEV Electric Hybrid with nimble acceleration that increases fuel efficiency. The car has two motors, one is the petrol engine which acts as generators and the traction motor drives the wheels, it will be interesting to test the car in action. The technology sure is promising and will give Honda the upper hand to already one of the most liked cars.
Honda city eHEV comes with a host of safety features, one of them is Honda Sensing – it uses Uses a high-performance front camera with a wide-angle, far-reaching detection system to help alert the driver and minimize the risk of accidents. Below are its features:
- Collision mitigation braking system (CMBS)
- road departure mitigation (RDM)
- Auto High beam
- Adaptive cruise control
- Lane keep assist system (LKAS)
The other safety features include:
- 6 Air Bags (Dual Front, Seat Side & Curtain)

Overall, it looks like Honda has covered all the safety features. There is a screen behind the wheels for the driver, which is a 7inch HD FULL-COLOUR TFT METER console that displays multi-information including e:HEV power flow meters, Honda Sensing support and various other alerts and warnings.
Some of its highlighting features also include walk-away auto lock, remote engine start and deceleration selector paddle.
The sedan is said to be launched in early May 2022. Expected to be priced in the range of Rs 17 lakh to Rs 18.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
