2025 Hyundai Venue launched & Venue N Line unveiled: Everything you should know
The 2025 Hyundai Venue has been officially launched in India. The Venue starts at 7.90 lakh ex-showroom for the base HX2 variant. The HX4 is priced at 8.80 lakh, whereas the HX5 costs 9.15 lakh. These prices are introductory, ex-showroom and for the customers who get their car delivered by Dec 31st.
Hyundai has officially taken the wraps off the Venue and Venue N Line. The new cars have taken over the stage, and soon the pricing will be unveiled.
Hyundai is also offering drive modes and traction modes with the 2025 Venue. There are three driving modes – Eco, Normal and Sport, and there are three traction modes – Sand, Mud and Snow.
Hyundai is claiming a fuel efficiency figure of 18.05 kmpl for the 1.2-litre MPi petrol engine. The turbo petrol engine has a claimed fuel economy of 18.74 kmpl with the 6-speed manual gearbox and 20 kmpl with the 7-speed DCT. The diesel engine is even more efficient at 20.99 kmpl for the 6-speed manual gearbox and 17.9 kmpl for the 6-speed torque converter automatic.
The 2025 Hyundai Venue will come with 16 ADAS Level 2 features. This includes Front Collision Warning, Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Parking Collision Avoidance, Surround View Monitor, Blind Spot View Monitor, Lane Keep Assist and much more.
Because of the larger dimensions, the boot space of the 2025 Hyundai Venue has gone up from 350 litres to 375 litres. This should help in increasing the practicality of the SUV, as customers can now pack in more luggage.
Amit Dhaundiyal, AVP and Vertical Head, Product Strategy and Planning takes us through the exterior design of the new Venue. The brand had five pillars for the product – Assertive exterior, Stylish interior, Trailblazing technology, Redefined performance and Advanced safety. The Venue comes with twin horn LED DRLs, rear horizon LED tail lamps, along with connected lightbar, chunky skid plates and 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
The company has also introduced a more athletic variant of the standard model, known as the Venue N Line, which includes numerous aesthetic improvements. The 2025 Venue N Line is derived from the standard model, yet it boasts a range of visual enhancements that provide it with a bolder and sportier look. Customers who want something that stands out on the road will prefer the N Line version over the standard version.
The Hyundai Venue is underpinned by the K1 platform. The brand says that this platform uses a super-strong body structure along with expansive application of high-grade steel.
Hyundai will produce the Venue exclusively in India. And it will be exported to 30 countries, making India an exporting hub for the brand. The brand is already exporting Alcazar from India to other countries.
Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India says, “Venue marks the beginning for Hyundai Motor India for its global roadmap for 2030. By 2030 the company aims to have 15% market share with a 1.5 X revenue growth. The company aims to have 82% of total sales coming from SUVs and MPVs. The Venue is the first model to be produced at the Pune plant. By 2030, 30% of the company’s total production will be exported.”
Within the interior, the new Venue N Line embodies the same performance-driven essence while incorporating a hint of premium sophistication. The cabin showcases a dynamic black theme accented with red highlights, further enhanced by the exclusive N Line steering wheel and gear shift knob.
Additional enhancements to the cabin comprise:
– Sporty metal pedals
– Black leatherette seats featuring N branding
– Sunrise Red ambient lighting on the crash pad and centre console
These features emphasise the dual character of the N Line — sporty, yet practical and visually appealing.
The 2025 Hyundai Venue N Line presents a bold appearance with unique styling elements exclusive to the N Line. At the front, it features a dark chrome radiator grille adorned with the N Line emblem, while both bumpers are equipped with red-highlighted inserts that amplify its sporty character.
Additional exterior features include:
Dark metallic silver skid plates (both front and rear)
LED sequential turn indicators
R17 (436.6 mm) diamond-cut alloy wheels marked with N branding
Red brake calipers on all four discs
Bridge-type roof rails accented with red highlights
Side sill garnish embellished with red accents
Twin-tip exhaust along with N Line badging on the grille, fenders, and tailgate
These components work together to provide the Venue N Line with a unique presence on the road, distinguishing it from the standard version.
The N Line version of the Venue will only be offered with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
Yes, Hyundai will launch the Venue N Line alongside the standard Venue. It will come with a severe cosmetic upgrade, which will make it look angrier and sportier. It will be the top-of-the-line version and will be aimed towards enthusiasts.
The Venue offers a selection of colour options comprising six monotone shades and two dual-tone shades, which include Hazel Blue, Mystic Sapphire, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Dragon Red, and Abyss Black.
Additionally, the N Line introduces five monotone shades and three dual-tone options, featuring Atlas White, Hazel Blue, and Dragon Red paired with an Abyss Black roof.
Hyundai has introduced a new nomenclature for the variants. They will now start with ‘HX’. There will be six variants on offer namely HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6T, HX8 and HX10.
Yes, the 2025 Hyundai Venue is wider, taller and has a longer wheelbase than the outgoing version. To be precise, the new-gen Venue is now 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider and the wheelbase is now 20 mm longer. All this should help in opening up more space for the occupants.
Hyundai has given a major redesign to the Venue. It looks a lot more aggressive, boxy, chunky and rugged than the outgoing version. Till November 2024, the brand sold over 6 lakh units of the Venue. And till May’2025, the sales figures crossed 6.70 lakh units. Needless to say, despite being one of the older models when compared to the rivals, the Venue kept going strong.
Hyundai launched the first-gen Venue back in 2019. So, it is due for a generational update. It was Hyundai’s first sub 4-metre compact SUV in the Indian market and it was fairly successful too.
