The 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center from November 21-30, delivering ten full days of automotive innovation, immersive experiences, and exclusive debuts that solidify its reputation as one of the most influential auto shows in the world.
With more than 118 years of history, this year’s show promises record-breaking automaker participation, hands-on driving experiences, and showcases that blend cutting-edge technology with Southern California’s legendary car culture.
The Weekly Driver will be on the ground for AutoMobility LA on November 20, the exclusive media and industry day, delivering firsthand coverage of the vehicle debuts, press conferences, and industry insights that set the stage for the public show.
The 2025 LA Auto Show opens to the public across ten days with varying hours to accommodate different schedules:

Ticket Pricing:
Tickets are available now at laautoshow.com/tickets.
Attendees looking to maximize their budget have several proven avenues for securing discounted admission.
In past years, Costco has emerged as a reliable source for discounted tickets, with members finding two Any Day tickets for as low as $33, representing significant savings compared to gate prices.
Car dealerships throughout Southern California have historically provided complimentary tickets and promotional coupons to customers, particularly during the weeks leading up to the show, a strategy worth exploring at your local dealer, as inventory varies by dealership.
The LA Auto Show’s email newsletter consistently offers exclusive promo codes providing 10-15% off standard ticket prices, with subscribers gaining access to flash sales and limited-time offers unavailable elsewhere.
Third-party ticket vendors like FunEx and promo code aggregators offer savings of up to 25% off standard pricing, with many codes remaining active through the early weeks of the show.
Educational institutions also partner with the show. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo students, for example, receive a 15% discount on select tickets.
The Los Angeles Convention Center offers multiple parking options with rates ranging from $25-35 per day. For budget-conscious attendees, reserving parking in advance through SpotHero can secure lower rates and guaranteed spots.
Parking is available at:
Public transportation provides convenient alternatives, with the Convention Center accessible via Metro lines and downtown LA transit options.
Pro Tip: Weekdays, particularly Monday through Wednesday, and early morning hours typically draw smaller crowds, making for a more relaxed experience.
VIP Early Entry tickets allow access to the show floor before larger weekend crowds arrive. This is especially helpful if you’re looking to experience some of the activations without the long lines.
Before the public show opens, AutoMobility LA 2025 takes center stage on Thursday, November 20, bringing together thousands of automotive executives, media representatives, policymakers, technologists, designers, dealers, investors, and content creators.
This year’s media day features a packed schedule that begins with a SEMA Cars & Coffee breakfast at 7:15 AM and extends through evening networking events and the RACER Creator Awards.
The AutoMobility LA Main Stage will host keynotes and expert panels tackling critical mobility topics. California Transportation Secretary Toks Omishakin will deliver a headline session exploring the state’s transportation future, while a special panel examines the partnership between Honda and LA28 for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Press conferences from Kia, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Lucid, and Stellantis/Jeep will unveil new vehicles and showcase innovations throughout the day. The North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year finalists will be announced, setting the stage for the eventual winners, the Honda Civic Hybrid, Ford Ranger, and Volkswagen ID. Buzz, which were revealed in January 2025.
Test drives from Honda, Kia, Lucid, and Rivian begin at 9:00 AM, giving media and industry professionals hands-on experience with the latest models.
The Weekly Driver will be attending AutoMobility LA to provide exclusive coverage of the debuts, press conferences, and industry developments, continuing a long tradition of LA Auto Show reporting that dates back to 2017.

Each day offers unique glimpses into the innovation and artistry shaping the automotive world.
Founded in 1907 at Morley’s Skating Rink on Grand Avenue, the LA Auto Show debuted with 46 manufacturers and 99 vehicles on display.
LA Mayor Arthur C. Harper formally opened the first show to more than 3,000 people on January 21, 1907, establishing it as the first auto show on the West Coast and the largest of its kind west of Chicago.
The show’s 118-year history is marked by resilience and growth. When a massive fire destroyed the venue in 1929, causing over one million dollars in damage, the association and community rallied to reopen the show just one day later at Shrine Stadium.
After a World War II hiatus, the show returned in 1952 at the Pan Pacific Auditorium with 152 vehicles, including manufacturers from England, France, Italy, and the United States.
In 2006, the show made a pivotal move from its traditional January dates to late November/early December, transforming it from a regional exhibition into an international gathering that kicks off the global auto show season.
The 1993 expansion of the Los Angeles Convention Center provided the space needed to accommodate the show’s growth into the fully international, news-breaking exhibition it is today.
The LA Auto Show now spans more than one million square feet of exhibition space, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually and serving as one of the most influential platforms for vehicle debuts and mobility innovations.
The 2025 LA Auto Show hosts several prestigious award presentations during AutoMobility LA:
The 2025 NACTOY winners, Honda Civic Hybrid (Car), Ford Ranger (Truck), and Volkswagen ID. Buzz (Utility), were announced in January 2025 at the Detroit Auto Show.
Plan Ahead: Download the LA Auto Show floor plan from laautoshow.com to map your route through the expansive exhibition space.
The show spans multiple halls, atriums, outdoor plazas, and concourse areas.
Arrive Early: Morning hours, especially on weekdays, offer the least crowded experience with more opportunities for test drives and interactions with brand representatives.
Wear Comfortable Shoes: With over one million square feet to explore, attendees easily log several miles of walking throughout the day.
Interactive Opportunities: Unlike dealership visits, the LA Auto Show encourages hands-on exploration.
Climb inside vehicles, test infotainment systems, and ask brand ambassadors detailed questions without sales pressure.
Accessibility Services: Wheelchairs, strollers, and electric scooters are available first-come, first-served at the West Lobby entrance and South Lobby entrance.
The 2025 LA Auto Show features record automaker participation, with more than 30 brands spanning established manufacturers and innovative newcomers.
This diversity, from compact sedans to heavy-duty trucks, from affordable hybrids to exotic hypercars, ensures there’s something for every automotive enthusiast, whether browsing for inspiration or actively shopping for their next vehicle.
The show runs November 21-30, 2025, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Comprehensive information, tickets, and updates are available at laautoshow.com.
