The 2025 Punch facelift’s dashboard features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, a new 2-spoke steering wheel and a digital driver’s display.
Exterior updates include an updated fascia with LED lighting elements, a new grille and updated alloy wheels.
It is expected to continue with the same petrol and petrol-CNG powertrain options.
Prices can start from Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Tata Punch SUV is available in both ICE and EV versions, as is typical of Tata’s lineup, and has been the bestselling model for the carmaker in recent years. Tata is expected to bring the 2025 Punch facelift sometime this year, and fresh spy shots of one of its test mules have now surfaced online.
While its exterior design had been spotted earlier, this time we get a glimpse of the interior, which looks refreshed and more in line with its EV counterpart. Without further ado, here’s everything we could gather from the spy shots.
We start with the interior first. The 2025 Tata Punch facelift features a familiar black and white dual-tone theme.

The layered dashboard design remains familiar, but there are some new and notable elements. There is a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system at the centre, which seems to have slimmer bezels than the one offered in the current Punch.
Another major change is the steering wheel. The facelifted Punch swaps the older 3-spoke unit for Tata’s new 2-spoke design, which features an illuminated logo and a gloss black panel, first seen on the Nexon. The steering wheel also gets a dual-tone finish with a gloss black insert in its flat-bottom design.
A fully digital driver’s display is also visible, likely the same 7-inch unit offered in the one-below-top variant of the Tata Altroz facelift. Another update that should be on the cards is the inclusion of a touch-based panel for automatic climate control.
The centre console houses a gear lever and has usable storage spaces. One can also expect the front and rear seats to be updated with the extended thigh support found in the Altroz, which should help the Punch boast improved comfort levels.

Based on previous spy shots, the Punch is expected to get updates to mimic the look of the Punch EV. It sports an updated fascia with a new grille, new LED DRLs and differently positioned headlamps (likely to be LEDs) compared to the existing Punch. It will also sport newly designed alloy wheels as well as updated front and rear bumpers.
The 2025 Tata Punch facelift is expected to continue with the same powertrain options, the specifications of which are as follows:
Engine
1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol
1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol with CNG
Power
88 PS
73.5 PS (CNG)
Torque
115 Nm
103 Nm (CNG)
Transmission
5-speed MT, 5-speed AMT*
5-speed MT
*AMT- automated manual transmission
The Tata Punch facelift is expected to be priced from Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. It will continue to rival the Hyundai Exter and Maruti Ignis and also serve as an alternative to models like the Maruti Fronx, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Citroen C3.
Note: Tata is gearing up to launch the Punch facelift on January 13, 2026!
