The first images of the 2026 Audi F1 car have been spotted online following its shakedown run from Barcelona.
Audi declared several years ago that it would join the sport in 2026 for the start of a new era under fresh technical regulations.

The FIA has exclusively issued a response to RacingNews365 amid growing tensions over a supposed trick Mercedes and Red Bull have devised independently of each other with regard to the compression ratio of their new F1 power units.
The championship has overhauled its engine regulations for the 2026 campaign, along with all-new chassis rules. It is the first time since 2014 that the former area has been revised.

F1 is set for a major rules overhaul in 2026, with both the power units and chassis undergoing radical changes in the biggest shake-up to grand prix racing.
The power units are being resculptured, with the removal of the MGU-H and beefed-up electrical systems set to provide nearly three times as much battery power, 350kwh compared to 120kw in the past.
