Audi has officially locked in the name for its Formula 1 entry, confirming it will compete as the Audi Revolut F1 Team from the 2026 F1 season. This announcement brings clarity to Audi’s long-planned arrival as a full works team under the new Formula 1 regulations. Crucially, it formalises the title partnership with global fintech firm Revolut, first hinted at in July 2025. The high-profile deal embeds Revolut Business into team operations and integrates Revolut Pay into the official merchandise platform. The highly anticipated Audi Revolut F1 Team will publicly reveal its 2026 race livery and car on 20 January 2026 at a launch event in Berlin.

The unveiling is scheduled to take place at Funkhaus Berlin, chosen to host the factory entrant’s first official global presentation. Adding a fan-engagement element, Audi has confirmed the venue will open to the public on 21 January, offering a close-up look at the new F1 car before its track debut.

The Berlin launch event is timed ahead of pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from 26 to 30 January 2026. This session will mark the first on-track running of Audi’s new car before the season opener in Australia. It follows the Audi R26 concept reveal in November 2025, which provided an early look at the team’s design direction for the new regulation cycle.
The Audi Revolut F1 Team has confirmed it will retain Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto as its driver pairing for 2026, carrying over the line-up from Sauber’s final season, which ended ninth in the Constructors’ standings with 70 points. Audi’s Formula 1 project now involves more than 700 staff across its three European locations, aligned around the 2026 regulations that introduce sustainable fuels and next-generation hybrid energy systems.
