India-spec Renault Duster Teased for the First Time Ahead of 26 January Debut – CarWale

The India-spec Renault Duster has been teased for the first time ahead of its debut on 26 January. The teaser images reveal the shape of the LED DRLs and also the fact that it will get connected tail lamps, which are not present on the global-spec Dacia and Renault Duster. This is indicative of additional design elements that are expected to be specific to the Indian market.
This will be Renault’s most significant vehicle for the Indian market. It will see the revival of an iconic nameplate, something that’s expected to work in Renault’s favour, especially now that we have seen the kind of attention the new Sierra received during its revival.
The Duster will also spawn a Nissan model called Tekton and will be produced at the Alliance’s factory outside Chennai for both the domestic markets as well as for export markets. The Duster and Tekton will be joined by their automakers’ respective three-row SUVs in early 2027, completing the automakers’ new lineup.
