We have a great choice of vehicles this quarter, including nearly 100 options with no or low Advance Payment.
You’ll only pay an Advance Payment if you choose a car that costs more than your mobility allowance, such as higher spec models and WAVs. You’ll only pay this once, at the price shown when you order.
Thinking of switching to an EV? You could save around £225 per year with an electric vehicle when you charge at home, compared to running an equivalent petrol car1. We’ve shared some of the latest EVs with long range below.
Explore our options below.
The car industry has been evolving quickly over the last year. The Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) mandate means more manufacturers are focusing on electric vehicles. This is making petrol and diesel models less common. And like many sectors, the cost of things like materials, insurance and repairs have been going up.
The Government announced some tax changes in their Autumn Budget that influence how we run the Scheme. These include VAT on Advance Payments and Insurance Premium Tax (IPT). Both will be included on Scheme leases from July 2026.

Even with these changes, the Motability Scheme remains great value and cheaper on average than leasing elsewhere. And our price freeze gives you the peace of mind that the price you see when you apply is the price you’ll pay, even if prices go up before your handover date.
Explore our latest cars with no Advance Payment. That means you’ll use some or all of your weekly allowance, without needing to pay anything up front.

Two years after the ZEV Mandate: what’s changed
1. Savings of £225 are based on 5,000 annual miles and charging at home on a Standard Variable Tariff at 27.69p/kWh based on Ofgem’s current price cap, with an electric vehicle achieving 3.5 miles per kWh. This is compared to an equivalent petrol car achieving 50 miles per gallon with petrol at £1.37 per litre (December 2025 average. Source: RAC Fuel Watch). Actual savings will vary based on your individual mileage, your vehicle’s efficiency, electricity and fuel prices at time of use, charging location (home versus public charging), driving conditions and style. Public rapid charging typically costs 60-80p per kWh and will reduce savings. Prices correct as of January 2026 and subject to change. Full methodology available on request.
Prices and features of car models shown are correct at the time of printing and may be subject to adjustments or withdrawal in the event of any changes taking place which affect the cost of provision of the lease agreement. The wider car market is experiencing longer delivery times and availability issues with some makes and models and customers are advised to discuss this with their dealer at the point of application. Prices shown are valid for recipients of the HRMC of the DLA, and ERMC of PIP making an application between 01/01/2026 and 31/03/2026, but may be subject to change. Customers are advised to check any specifically required vehicle features with their dealer at the point of application. All vehicles shown are for illustrative purposes only.

All Miles Per Gallon (MPG) values quoted are based on the WLTP test results – see manufacturer website for most up-to-date data. MPG figures may not reflect real-life driving results and are for comparison purposes only. Motability Operations Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
