Maruti e Vitara Launch Date for India Confirmed – CarWale

After a series of delays, we finally have a launch date for Maruti Suzuki’s first electric offering, the e Vitara. The Indian carmaker will announce the prices of its initial electric model on 2 December, 2025.
Maruti Suzuki has already commenced production of the e Vitara, which was followed by exporting the first set of 6,000 units to Europe and the UK. Produced at the brand’s facility in Gujarat, the electric SUV will be available in 10 colours and three variants, details of which you can read on our website.
Powering the new Maruti e Vitara will be 48.8kWh and 61.1kWh battery packs, both paired with a single electric motor each (FWD). The company claims a range of 500km on a full charge, while the battery can be juiced up from 0 to 80 per cent in 50 minutes via a DC fast charger.
Key features of the 2025 Maruti Suzuki e Vitara include Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, electric sunroof, LED projector headlamps, drive modes, Suzuki Connect, TPMS, seven airbags, and a 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat.
