Nearly 185,000 Vehicles Sold Through Diia in 2025 with New DI License Plates – Букви

Since the start of the year, nearly 185 thousand vehicles have been sold through Diia.
This was reported by the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Since the beginning of 2025, through Diia nearly 185 thousand vehicles have been sold. Of these, more than 25 thousand received new license plates with the DI series. And this accounts for about 14% of all transactions. The largest share is for passenger cars – more than 19 thousand sets of DI-series plates are assigned to them, more than 1,300 electric vehicles, more than 4,200 motorcycles and 360 mopeds
Most owners after selling leave the previous license plates on the car, as evidenced by the relevant documents.
If new license plates with the DI series are issued, the old numbers are not transmitted to the MIA service center for storage during online re-registration. The owner may destroy them themselves.
If the owner plans to keep the license plate under responsible storage after selling the car, the purchase agreement should be concluded directly at the Territorial Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The online purchase agreement via Diia may be concluded only by individuals.
Delivery of documents, license plates, and the registration certificate is provided by Ukrposhta to the chosen branch within up to 10 days. There is also an option to issue an electronic registration certificate without a paper carrier and use the car when the document appears in Diia.
