Almost 5,800 new cars were registered in the county in 2025.
New figures show car sales rose in Kildare last year, with electric vehicles continuing to grow.
Almost 5,800 new cars were registered in the county in 2025.
That’s up just over 7 per cent on the previous year.
More than 1,400 new electric vehicles were registered in Kildare – a rise of almost 40 per cent compared to 2024.
The figures cover registrations from January to December 2025.
Met Éireann is warning of hazardous travelling conditions and poor visibility.
The price ceiling for new homes in the county remains at €475,000.

A new report by daft.ie shows there were only 11,500 second-hand homes available to buy on December 1st 2025.
The most common issues were defective tyres, suspension and brakes.
