First launched in 2019, the Hyundai Venue is one of the best-sellers for the Korean brand in India. The SUV received its first major upgrade in 2022, and is now ready for a generation update. In fact, the new SUV has been caught testing numerous times on the Indian roads.
Hyundai is yet to reveal the exact launch date, but our sources reveal that the new Hyundai Venue will arrive during the festival season, before Diwali. A possible launch around September or October 2025 can’t be ignored.
The spy images confirm that the new Venue will continue to have boxier styling with design elements similar to the Alcazar. It will have squared-out split LED headlights and a larger rectangular-shaped grille. It will have rugged lower bumper that houses new air intake, and RADAR sensors for ADAS. The SUV will also get front parking sensors which we have already seen on the Kia Syros.
The silhouette appears identical to the current model, but it will have a more prominent wheel arches and newly designed alloy wheels. The new Venue has large glass areas, a flat roof with roof rails and a shark-fin antenna. The rear will have new bumper and a revised connected LED tail-lights.
The new-gen Hyundai Venue is expected to come with a significantly revised interiors, featuring a new dashboard layout dominated by larger screens. It is likely to get dual 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment and driver’s display, and a new steering wheel. Another big update is that the next Venue will come with a panoramic sunroof. The SUV is also likely to get ventilated front and rear seats with reclining and sliding function.
Other features could include a wireless phone charger, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control, auto dimming IRVM, a digital driver’s display, and air purifier. For safety and security, the new Venue will have 6 airbags as standard, a 360-degree surround view camera, ESP, hill launch assist and LEVEL 2 ADAS tech.
The new-gen Venue is most likely to retain its existing engine options, including a 1.2L naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.0L turbo petrol and a 1.5L diesel. Hyundai could introduce the factory-fitted CNG kit with the lower-spec Venue 1.2L version. This time around, the diesel version could also get an automatic gearbox option.
