The 2025 Tata Sierra has finally been revealed, marking the return of one of Tata’s most iconic SUVs. The New Sierra brings a bold new look, a premium cabin, and a long list of modern features, all while keeping hints of the original Sierra’s classic design. With new petrol engines, updated styling, and competitive pricing, the Sierra is ready to take on its rivals in the mid-size SUV segment ahead of the Tata Sierra launch.

Tata Sierra now gets a completely new design language. The front looks sharp and modern with connected LED DRLs, sequential turn indicators, slim LED headlights and a large skid plate on the bumper. The upright stance and gloss-black panels add a premium look, while the bold “Sierra” lettering brings strong identity to the SUV.
From the side, the 2025 Tata Sierra recreates the iconic Alpine window effect with a large glass area between the B and C pillars. The clean shoulder line, flush door handles and thick cladding give it a tough SUV feel. It runs on stylish 19-inch alloy wheels that add to its strong road presence.
The rear of the New Sierra gets a full-width LED light bar, a clean tailgate with a Sierra badge, and a gloss-black bumper with a silver skid plate, giving the SUV a neat and modern finish.
The 2025 Sierra will be offered in eye-catching colours like Andaman Adventure (Yellow), Bengal Rouge (Red), Coorg Clouds (Silver), Munnar Mist (Green), Mintal Grey, and Pristine White.
Inside, the Tata Sierra feels more premium than any Tata car so far. The main highlight is the triple-screen dashboard; one for the driver and two for infotainment.
The cabin uses a black and grey theme with a large panoramic sunroof that stretches till the C-pillar, giving a bright and airy feel. The seats come in a dual-tone beige and grey finish, each with adjustable headrests and 3-point seatbelts. The four-spoke illuminated steering wheel is shared with the Tata Curvv.
The New Sierra comes with many premium features such as:
– Dual-zone automatic climate control
– Wireless phone charging
– Powered and ventilated front seats
– Rear sunshades
– 360-degree camera
– Level-2 ADAS
– Multiple drive modes
These features make the Tata Sierra 2025 a strong competitor to its mid-size SUV rivals.
Tata Sierra new petrol engines are among the biggest updates. The SUV will debut two new 1.5-litre petrol engines:
The first is a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine expected to make around 120hp and 140Nm, likely paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The second is a 1.5-litre direct-injection turbo petrol engine expected to deliver about 170hp and 280Nm. It may offer a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic option.
The diesel Sierra is expected to get the familiar 1.5-litre turbo diesel making 118hp and 260Nm, with both MT and DCT options. Higher variants may even get Tata’s 2.0-litre diesel engine.
Tata Sierra price is expected to start around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base ICE version, going up to Rs 20 lakh for higher variants. With this pricing, the Tata Sierra 2025 rivals include strong players like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
