The Octavia range continues to lead Škoda’s internal sales charts, holding the position of the best-selling model with almost 7.4 % market share. Among electric vehicles, the Škoda Elroq came out on top, followed by the Škoda Enyaq.

“The growth in new car registrations in 2025 was particularly supported by record results from September to December. An important factor was the rising demand for hybrid and fully electric vehicles. Our results are based on strong interest from private customers in promotional models and targeted offers in operational leasing for companies. This has allowed us to further strengthen our position in an increasingly competitive market,” explains Jiří Maláček, Head of Škoda Auto Czech Republic.
Detailed sales figures for individual model ranges confirm Škoda’s leading role: seven of the ten best-selling vehicles in 2025 in the Czech Republic came from Škoda. The Octavia recorded 18,330 new registrations, securing a 7.4 % share of the overall market. In second place was the Škoda Kamiq with 11,550 registrations (4.6 %), followed by the Škoda Karoq with 11,454 units (4.6 %). The models Kodiaq (10,854; 4.4 %), Fabia (10,117; 4.1 %) and Scala (9,536; 3.8 %) also feature among the top ten. The Škoda Superb took eighth place with 6,620 vehicles (2.7 %).

The market for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) grew particularly strongly, up over 26 % compared with the previous year. The Škoda Elroq contributed significantly to this success, with 2,782 units sold, making it the best-selling electric car of 2025. Overall, of 13,806 BEV sales, 5,259 were Škoda – a market share of 38.1 %. With initiatives such as the Škoda Explore programme, which allows interested parties to test an electric vehicle for one to 15 days, Škoda aims to further promote locally emission-free mobility.
