Tata Punch facelift is officially set to launch in India on January 13, 2026, marking the first major update for the micro-SUV since its debut in 2021. The Punch facelift 2026 brings big changes in design, features and engines, including a new turbo-petrol option.
Prices for the new Tata Punch 2026 are expected to start at around Rs 6 lakh and could go up to Rs 11-12 lakh (ex-showroom) for top-end variants.
One of the biggest highlights of the Punch new model is the introduction of a 1.2L turbo-petrol engine, borrowed from the Nexon. This engine is expected to deliver 120 PS and 170 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Lower variants of the 2026 Tata Punch will continue with the familiar 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine, available with manual and AMT options. A factory-fitted CNG variant will also be offered.
The Smart variant of the Punch facelift 2026 focuses on safety and essentials.
Key features include:
– 6 airbags
– Power sight LED headlamps
– City and Eco drive modes
– Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
– Remote keyless entry
– iTPMS
– Corporate steering wheel
This makes the base Punch facelift safer than before.
The Pure variant adds more comfort and convenience features.

– Steering-mounted controls
– Central console with armrest
– Rear defogger
– Day and night IRVM
This variant is aimed at buyers wanting extra comfort at a reasonable price.
The Pure+ variant introduces modern tech features in the Tata Punch 2026 model.

– HD reverse camera
– Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
– Cruise control
– USB Type-C fast charger
– Height-adjustable driver seat
The Adventure variant of the Punch facelift 2026 adds several premium features.
It comes with:
– 360-degree surround view camera
– Blind View Monitor
– Push-button start
– Rear wiper and washer
– Fully automatic climate control
– 15-inch hyper-styled wheels
– Auto headlamps
– Rain-sensing wipers
This variant offers strong value for money.
The Accomplished variant pushes the new Punch further upmarket.

– Trail Crest 16-inch alloy wheels
– Ultra View 26.03 cm touchscreen HD infotainment
– LED DRLs
– Infinity Glow LED tail lamps
– Extended thigh support seats
– Clima Touch automatic climate control
The top-spec Accomplished+ S variant is the most feature-packed Tata Punch facelift yet.
Highlights include:
– Voice-assisted electric sunroof
– LED fog lamps with cornering function
– Ultra View 17.78 cm HD digital instrument cluster
– Wireless smartphone charger
– Auto-dimming IRVM
– iRA connected car technology
With ADAS-ready hardware, a new turbo-petrol engine, premium features and improved safety, the Punch facelift 2026 is set to raise the bar in the micro-SUV segment. It will take on rivals like the Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger once launched.
